Mothers Day Weekend 2014

Mothers Day came fast this year. It was a FUN weekend Friday night we went to johns brother Brain's  house in American Fork and had a BBQ with all of the Carpenter Family. Georgia was in town and it was a fun time getting together with everyone. Dax enjoyed playing at the park and playing with his cousins. Saturday morning Dax and I went grocery shopping together and that is always fun. When we got home he took a nap and I put the groceries away. After he woke up we drove to Jordan's and picked him up and we were on our way to Grandma Jorgensen to surprise her for Mothers Day. First we stopped at IN N OUT my favorite and grabbed some lunch. Jordan was sweet and offered to pay for it since it was Mothers day weekend. I gladly accepted. We got to Grandma Jorgensen's and she was really surprised to see us. It had been a few months since we had last seen her. We visited for a while, talked and laughed and hung out. Dax was entreating himself with her Phone and Oxygen machine. After we left I stopped by Sweet Tooth Fairy and grabbed my free Chocolate cupcake for Mother's Day. After that I dropped Jordan off and headed home. Georgia stopped by and had dinner with us before she drove back to St George. We had Spaghetti and Cesar salad. It was nice to visit and hangout. After that I put Dax to bed and watched some shows and relaxed. John went shopping for Mothers day. After he got home we hung out and then went to bed. Dax ended up waking up and we watched Curious George at Midnight. Oh the joys of his crazy sleeping habits. Sunday morning we went to church and no offense but the Mothers day talks were horrible. Not what we were expecting at all. After church the Young Men handed us Chocolate Bars and I was excited because I Love chocolate. We came home from church and changed and went to Costco to grab a few things, We had Chicken Veggies and rice for dinner. John gave me a sweet card and 2 movies. Sweet home Alabama and The Saratov Approach. All in all it was a fun Mothers day. I am so grateful for Daxton. He is my little sunshine. He makes me so happy and I am so grateful for him. I love being his Mommy and look forward to many mothers days to come.

We stopped and gave Jaclyn her tassel. We decided to buy her a purple lieu and a cute adorable bear with a cap and cute glasses.  It was exciting and lots of people everywhere. The first ceremonies were all of the doctorate degrees and amazing speeches. One in particular stood out in my mind. It was a speech about a guy who had wanted to end Poverty and went to the Philippines as a young boy and wanted to make a movement to stop world's poverty. He has done an amazing job.  He know receive his doctorate degree and is making a difference.  After the first ceremonies we met Jaclyn outside of the stadium cheered for her and took lot's of pictures and hugged at congratulate her. We drove back to the hotel changed and walked over to kneaders bakery and had a yummy lunch. It was fun hanging out and enjoying each other company. We went back to the hotel and relaxed until the next ceremonies when Jaclyn was walking across stage and getting her diploma. We got all ready and made it in plenty of time. We were so excited and proud of her. Dax ended up falling asleep for a bit so John was able to hear some of the ceremony, we got ready and screamed really loud when they called Jaclyn name and took lot's of pictures. After she walked i decided to go outside and play with dax and John out on the soccer field. Dax had fun and played with other kids too. After we took more pictures congratulated her and decided to go back to the hotel. We we're all tired. It was nice to relax and just hangout together. We went to dinner at this diner place and we all had breakfast for dinner. It was very fun and casual. We decided to drive back to Santaquin after.  We had a long drive home and wanted to get home at a reasonable time. It was a fun weekend and i couldn't be more proud of my sister

Bye Bye Vernal September 2013

We decided since John was finishing police academy in salt lake from September to November we decided to leave our apartment in Vernal which wasn't easy we had to pay the remainder of our lease which tool forever. We luckily found a Home in santaquin in Utah county made an offer and we're anxiously awaiting. We lived with John's sister Michelle and her family for 6weeks in her basement it was fun but hard to live in 1 bedroom with all of us for that long.Dax slept horrible and it was not easy. We were patient and thankful for them letting us stay while we closed on our santaquin home. It was not easy leaving vernal our bishop discouraged us and said we should finish our lease. We prayed and did what we thought was best. We are forever grateful for our decision. Vernal was challenging I hated it very much. I know it made us stronger but I never want to live there again
